Do we need to buy any machines?
No. Staff use the Android phones they already have. Staff without a phone are checked in by a supervisor on site.
What if there is no internet?
Check-in still works. The record is kept safely on the phone with its real time and sent automatically when data returns.
Can someone check in for a colleague?
No. Each check-in needs the fingerprint or face unlock of the person’s own approved phone, and only works inside the work location.
Does DutyMark track staff all day?
No. Location is read once, only when someone taps Check in or Check out. There is no background tracking.
Do you store our staff fingerprints?
No. The fingerprint check happens inside the phone’s own security system. DutyMark never receives it.
What about staff with iPhones?
DutyMark is on Android today. Staff with iPhones can be checked in by a supervisor (assisted check-in) until an iPhone version is available.
Someone forgot to check out. What happens?
DutyMark checks them out automatically at the end of their shift, and marks it as automatic. If they check out later on their phone, the real time replaces it.
A record is wrong. Can it be fixed?
Yes. The staff member asks for a correction in the app; a supervisor or manager approves it. The original record is always kept.
Can we use it across several branches or campuses?
Yes. Draw each location, assign staff, and see all of them on one screen — each with its own time zone and supervisors.
Can a staff member belong to two organizations?
Yes. One account can join more than one organization, and the person switches between them in the app.
