FAQ

Common questions.

Do we need data to use TermBook?

No. Scores, results and registers are saved on the phone and work with no data at all. The school syncs automatically when there is a connection.

Can teachers with iPhones use TermBook?

TermBook is on Android today. TermBook in the browser — for iPhone, iPad and computers, with the same account — is coming soon.

Can I use it without my school?

Yes. Personal mode is for a teacher on their own: your classes, score sheets and report sheets on your phone, with no account needed.

Who can see the scores I enter?

In a school, you see your own subjects and classes; the class teacher sees their class; the admin sees the whole school. Nobody outside the school sees them.

Can a result be changed after it is approved?

Only by the admin, who must unlock it with a reason. The approved version is kept, and the new one becomes version 2 with a record of what changed.

We already have first and second term scores on paper. Can TermBook use them?

Yes. Type in earlier term totals so third-term cumulative results include them; they are marked as typed in, not shown on printouts.

Can we use our own grading scale?

Yes. Start with WAEC A1–F9, JSS A/C/P/F or the primary scale, and change the grades, boundaries and assessments to match your school.

What happens to our records if we stop paying?

The school becomes read-only. Everything stays viewable, printable and exportable. Choose a plan and work carries on.

How do we get our students in?

Type them, paste a list, or import from Excel or CSV. TermBook checks the file first and lets you undo an import within 24 hours.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings › Delete my account. Or from any browser on novaxion.ng/accounts.
